Hey West Deptford! My name is Brian Boucher, a lifelong West Deptford resident, nearly four decades now! West Deptford has given so much to me and my family over three generations that it’s my purpose to give back to the community that’s provided so much for me. I am running for the West Deptford Board of Education with a deeply rooted pride in our school system and community. My purpose is clear, not driven by political agenda, but vested in the commitment to serve the best interests of students and staff of the district. I come to the board committed to serve with trust, transparency, and communication. With these pillars set it will be the guide for overcoming challenges that arise, advocating for our students and staff, and fostering strong relationships with our community stakeholders.
Like many of you, a big reason my wife and I chose to set down roots for our family in West Deptford was because of the school district for our children. My son will be entering 7th grade at WDMS, and my daughter will be entering 4th grade at Greenfields Elementary this coming year. I wanted my children to be able to graduate from a school district which they can speak about with pride. As a young family we’re always on the go with the next activity, practice, or game. After those long days, we love ending our nights with our French bulldogs, Frank and Bella, who bring true joy to our home.
With immense pride and a passion to serve I strive to be Real, Ready, and Relatable for our amazing families and the entire West Deptford Community. My goal is to help West Deptford continue to build a school district that’s rooted in community, excels in both academics and athletics. To that end, we need to maintain a focus policy development, best hiring practices and continue to identify ways to enhance curriculum and athletics to give our children more opportunities for success. I look forward to working towards the goal of fostering the excellent reputation of the West Deptford School District.
